What is Voices of Haiti?

If Haiti could speak, what would it say?
Voices of Haiti is a growing, community-driven platform where Haitian and Haitian-descended youth and young adults share their experiences, dreams, creativity, and perspectives through storytelling, music, visual arts, film, poetry, and other forms of cultural expression. Together, we are building a living archive of Haitian identity, resilience, and possibility—one voice, one story, and one creation at a time.
This is not a finished project. It is a story we are writing together. As new voices join the movement, the platform continues to evolve, reflecting the richness, diversity, challenges, and aspirations of Haiti and its global Diaspora. Each contribution helps preserve our heritage, strengthen our connections, and reimagine our collective future.
By sharing their voices, contributors become co-creators of a living portrait of Haiti—one that is shaped not by headlines or stereotypes, but by the people whose stories deserve to be heard.
